Hi, I’m Pepper, a 13-pound little girl who came to the shelter with several of my siblings after our owner passed away. Everything feels new and a bit overwhelming right now, so I tend to be nervous at first. But once I feel safe, I really do enjoy gentle pets and closeness — I just need a little time to build trust and understand that I’m okay. I have experience living with other dogs and would thrive in a calm, patient home that lets me come out of my shell at my own pace.
